All natural Alessi Pasta Sauce “Alla Norma” tastes homemade because it’s made just like the Alessi family makes it at home. Fresh garlic and onion are sautéed in Alessi Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Sicilian pear-shaped tomatoes, picked in their most ripened and juicy state, are added to this “soffritto” along with a few basil leaves. Diced Sicilian Eggplants are added to the cooking sauce.
